Rome Day 4
I want this car!
Do you see the long queue? Almost the way around..
Last dinner, waiting for my pasta with salmon. Yummy!
We started day 4 early as usual, with breakfast right outside our hotel. Then we walked about 5km to the Vatican, and luckily the queue wasn’t so long, so after 10min we were in at St. Pietro church. It’s so huge that i don’t have words to describe. So many beautiful details, paintings and sculptures! As you can see, we went all the way up to the dome, which was like a morning exercise because you have to walk up and down all those narrow stairs (about 600 steps maybe, one way).
Then we ended up at the Vatican Museum, at Sistine Chapel with all those paintings by Michelangelo. To bad, it was forbidden to take pictures in the Sistine Chapel. All the guards where yelling at you in the speaker as soon they saw someone taking pictures or video.
I really felt in love with Rome. I wish i had more time there, because 4 days are way too short even if we were walking like crazy everyday. I feel like we haven’t seen everything yet.. But one day i will return to Rome or another part of Italy. And that day i will take comfortable shoes with me, haha.
And the journey ends here.
